Iran Galbanum Oil Company was established in the central region of Iran in year 1965 and is now the first and largest producer of Galbanum gum and Galbanum Essential oil in the world.

 

After half a century, the company has the largest collection and production team for the production and exploitation of plants Galbanum, Asafoetida, Angelica, Pistacia Atlantic and native plants in Iran.

For this reason, Iran Galbanum oil Company is the only leading company in the field of maintenance and expansion of this plant in the world.

Iran Galbanum Oil co is the only Galbanum Protective Company in Iran and in the world (For future generations), with training in Galbanum gum collection teams, monitoring of no-damage to the plant, physical protection of the barley plant throughout the year, and propagation and planting of barley seed elsewhere.

The company is proud to have received many honors in the past Nineteen years from the Iranian government.

Iran Galbanum Oil co has also devoted part of its profits to the poor and disadvantaged in various parts of Iran, supporting the poor, youth, entrepreneurs and building schools and clinics in various parts of Iran over the past years. Iran Galbanum Oil has started producing essential oils of other indigenous plants in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan since 2003. Plants like: Asafoetida Pistacia Atlantica (Saghez) Angelica Ammoniacum At present, the company is the largest oil-producing company in the world with an annual production capacity of min 2,500 tons of Galbanum essential oil.
